DAD and SETA Meeting
A delegation from East Africa Association for Research and Development (DAD) led by the director general Prof. Dr. Ali Sheikh Ahmed have paid a visit to the headquarter of SETA Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research in Ankara-Türkiye. The director general had a fruitful discussion with the general coordinator of SETA Prof.Dr. Burhanettin Duran where they underlined the importance of strengthening the cooperation between the two organizations which is partially disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, the director general of DAD extended his gratitude and appreciation to SETA for organizing the timely panel themed "Benefits of Türkiye-Somalia Partnership: A Discussion on Somalia`s Experience" in which the president of Federal Government of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud gave a speech about his policy towards Somalia`s state building and the relations between two brotherly countries Türkiye and Somalia. The two organizations have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and cooperated the organization of an impactful programs. Also, they have a constant communication by exchanging information and ideas.
